Senator Ted Kennedy (D-MA) stepped back onto the Senate floor today for the first time since being diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor on May 20th, 2008.

And it wasn't just a ceremonial return. Kennedy was there to put in work, casting a decisive vote on previously stalled Medicare legislation.
