TPMtv: It's the Surge, Stupid
Remember the episode TPMtv described yesterday as the one it was planning to do before John McCain committed his surge timeline error Tuesday evening? We figured it still held up, or at the very least was worth doing for the record. That is: to set down in permanent form for preservation, and also: to set the world record for most instances of a single word being used in a 4 and a half minute video. What John McCain needs to do politically, would be considered illegal in the cycling world. DOPING! And no, I don't mean get closer to George W. Bush. I mean an injection of fresh blood, an increase of his campaigns oxygen levels. He better forget all about the strategery and get somebody onboard with him fast!

Part of the problem is that the media is afraid of pointing out the clear signs of senility of Sen. McCain. How many times one has to hear the confusion in his speech about places, times, peoples, sequences of events, etc., to recognize it for what it is?

McCain's senility would most certainly not be considered a obstacle to his nomination by the GOP.
It would be a most desirable asset.
Does anyone doubt that a George W. Bush whose record of personal weaknes, business failings and abysmal ignorance was chosen by the GOP precisely for his malleability?
What more could the Round Table want than a willing dunce ready to cooperate mindlessly into setting up Cheney's unitary presidency...
Fascism ahoy!
