TPMtv: Sunday Show Roundup: Iraq Backtrack Flak

It began last Thursday afternoon when Barack Obama said during a press conference that he'd "continue to refine" his Iraq policies after talking to commanders on the ground during his planned upcoming trip to the country. Oops? The McCain camp and the news organizations flew into such a frenzy that Obama felt compelled to hold a second presser that same afternoon, unprecedented in this campaign, to quell the sudden din of policy-reversal charges.

On Sunday, Meet the Press was cancelled due to coverage of the men's Wimbledon championship, and CNN's Late Edition staged its 10th Anniversary Special. Fortunately TPMtv fave Joe Lieberman and the Fox News All-Star Panel supplied a full five shows worth of Obama Iraq Backtrack Flak:

solid work, Craw, as always. thanks for the link back to Josh's nuanced analysis... it helped me get back to my happy place for a little while (at least before i lapsed into a fresh wave of despair over the mainstream media's desperately short supply of that kind of thoughtfulness.)
