No, it's not the latest Steven Seagal movie. It's not the latest Chuck Norris movie. It's the latest episode of TPMtv!
Nothing says "not guilty" like dozens of leather-clad bikers. So it was a good thing that a large group of motorcyclists were on hand at the Anchorage airport yesterday to meet Sen. Ted Stevens (R-AK) and escort him to his first post-indictment campaign rally, where Ted shook his fist and reassured his fans: he's still in the race. Welcome home, Ted!

Is it true that cold weather slows your brain cells down? Is it true that Alaskans drink a lot of whiskey to keep the veins in their head from freezing? Has a cure for cold brain ever been found?
Any comments about Ted Stevens should take these things into account.

Vic Kohring, one of the Alaska state representatives who was recently sent to prison (another VECO pawn), had a very similar attitude regarding his own felonious behavior. It apparently is some sort of republican-in denial-syndrome that immediately strikes when indicTED. It seems to abate though shortly after conVICtion. Ted's TOAST and it seems he's (and you apparently) the only guy on the planet who doesn't know it yet. But he will in time.....
