And if you review the tape, notice how Michelle was shaking everyone's hand, and Cindy kept her hands behind her back.
She reminds me of that hotel heiress who said "let them eat cake". Why wouldn't she interact with the common man?

Sorry, but this is obviously a missed handshake. McCain is obviously coming up to shake hands. Obama turns around and misses McCains hand and shakes Cindy's. That left McCains hand hanging and instead of making something of it, he moves on to the crowd.
But I'm sure that people will make a big deal out of it somehow.

And then the McCain's just LEFT.
They gave the Obamas an opening to shake every hand and be photographed with every undecided voter in the room.
Deeply weird.

Thank you, traveldad65, I was beginning to think that I was the only one who saw the so-called "not-quite handshake" this way -- McCain was introducing Cindy. He and Obama had already exchanged handshakes while Brokaw was doing his closing.

I'm sorry, it went like this: Obama extends his hand, McCain starts to extend his hand, then lowers it and nods toward Cindy who shakes Obama's hand. McCain's hand is not extended again - it was not "left hanging" at all. This was a deliberate cut on McCain's part and is typical of his "sore loser" attitude. He is a spoiled brat that has managed to fool a lot of people for many years - NO MORE!

Reviewing the tape, seems to me that McCain taps Obama on the shoulder in order to get his attention for a handshake with Cindy McCain. I'm more interested in seeing the Michelle and Cindy non-handshake exchange.

McCain taps Obama on the opposite shoulder, trying to make him turn the other way and look like a fool, but obama is too smart for that.
