Listening to interviews and off-the-cuff statements by VP Republican candidate Sarah Palin, I get the feeling I'm listening to a talking-points salad. She takes the talking points she's been given by the McCain campaign, then chops them up and puts them together in a random way to create a kind of word salad.

John,
PLEASE This must be submitted to the Youtube for an Oscar.
I hope you'll amend with the Supreme Court clip and the rest (when made public). Would't mind the Tina Fey clips included at a later point either.
We'll want to see this one for years to come?

She has a certain quality about her, a je ne se quois, that makes these clips just so damned watchable. Mesmerizing. My grandchildren will be watching these clips.

In terms of the reforms that are needed outside the State of Alaska, you can bet that you pesky liberals and your disrespectful questions and "gotcha" hangups about Supreme Court legal trivia --when I say "pro-life" I am talking about a special moment of being, which is not to be confused with any moments of being once the child is grown and able to be cannon fodder with respect to our enemies in Afghanistan or Eye-rock or Eye-ron or Spain. I mean, the statute of limitations on "pro-life" runs out at age 18, as far as contributions to our military-industrial economy and job creation, because an eighteen-year-old no longer has a right to life then, because of the profits of the larger markets that are needed to shore up the economy.

And furthermore:
It's not rocket science, understanding the economy...in terms of the profits that are needed in the larger markets outside the state of Alaska, to shore up the thirsty military industrial economy, it all comes under the umbrella of job creation: the needed health reform could be of enormous, enormous benefit to the national interest if you create a larger market for new prostheses, PTSd counseling, family counseling for those who have served so bravely to defend the larger markets, and when they can walk again, they can work at the VA as orderlies, to create much-needed jobs they have skills for, and where did it ever say in the Bible that everybody can own a house, anyway?
Every effort must be made to protect our precious, precious profits in terms of the large thirsty markets. Hallelujah. Ting, tang, walla-walla bing bang. Methusaleh.

My Ode to Sarah Palin:
What’s the matter with you people
Who don’t like Sarah Palin?
Sarah Palin’s part of God’s Plan
To fix our country’s ailin’.
To all you PTA presidents
I have nothing but respect.
And if she becomes Vice President
Imagine the effect!
Her fundraising experience
While on the PTA
Could eliminate the Deficit
If allowed to have her day.
A car wash in the morning
Sell cookies after noon
Or maybe some will buy a nice
bouquet of federal balloons.
As the Mayor of Wasilla
A town of 7000 she did run
Why, that’s a lot of people
If you count them one by one!
Heck, she’s probably over-qualified
No other way to spin it.
She’s been Governor of Alaska
For 960 thousand minutes!
